To enhance the security of your gateway, you can install an SSL certificate.
This allows for encrypted communication via HTTPS.

π Certificate Requirements
Please ensure that your SSL certificate meets the following criteria:

Format: The file must be in PEM format

Encoding: The certificate must be Base64-encoded
-
File extension: The file should end with
.pem
-
Content: The file must begin and end with the following lines:
β οΈ Certificates in other formats such as .crt
, .cer
, or .key
may not be accepted.
π Uploading and Activating the Certificate
1. Login: Open your gatewayβs web interface in a browser
2. Navigation: Go to Configuration > SSL Support
3. Upload certificate: Select your .pem
file and upload it
4. Save: Save the settings
5. Restart: Reboot the gateway for the certificate to take effect
β Verify Functionality
After restarting:

Test access: Open the web interface again and check whether it is now accessible via HTTPS

Check certificate: Click the lock icon in your browserβs address bar to view certificate details

Certificate expired? Renew it in time to avoid interruptions

No access anymore? If the web interface is unreachable, temporarily use HTTP or contact support

Self-signed certificate? In production environments, it is strongly recommended to use a certificate issued by a trusted certificate authority
